Promo Codes

Promo codes let you create discount codes that customers can enter when booking. You control the discount amount, when the code can be used, and where it applies.

Where to access it

In the admin area, open the Prices section in the left menu and choose Promo Codes. The page lists all your promo codes and lets you add, edit, or delete them.

The promo code list

The list shows each code with its ID, Code, Amount, Validity, Used count, and Status. You can search by code and sort the columns.

• Click a row to open it for editing.
• Click Add Promo Code to create a new one.
• The Validity column shows the date range, or Unlimited when no period is set.
• Use the edit and delete icons on the right of each row to manage an individual code.

Creating or editing a promo code

The form is titled ADD PROMO CODE or EDIT PROMO CODE. The main settings are:

• Status – Active or Inactive.
• Code – the text customers enter to apply the discount.
• Discount – the value of the discount, combined with the Discount type: Percent or Amount.
• Minimum booking – the minimum number of days a booking must last for the code to apply.

Controlling when the code applies

• Set booking period – turn this on and set a From and To date to limit the code to bookings made within that window.
• Set validity period – turn this on and set a From and To date to limit the code to rentals that take place within that window.
• Starting days – tick the weekdays on which a reservation must start for the code to be available. Use Select all or Deselect all to set them quickly.

Choosing what the discount applies to

For a Percent discount, the The discount applies to setting lets you choose between Rental fee and Extras price.

Limiting the code to certain categories

In the Categories panel, tick the fleet categories the code may be used with. A code is only available for the checked categories.

How to use it

1. Open Prices → Promo Codes.
2. Click Add Promo Code.
3. Set the Status, Code, Discount, and Discount type.
4. Optionally set a Minimum booking, booking or validity period, starting days, and categories.
5. Click Save.

What happens next

• Active codes can be entered by customers during booking and apply their discount automatically when all conditions are met.
• The Used count increases each time the code is applied.
• Inactive codes remain visible in the list but no longer work at checkout.

Important behavior and special cases

• When editing a code, Notes and History buttons appear so you can add internal notes and review changes.
• The The discount applies to choice is only shown for Percent discounts.
• Editing and deleting require permission; otherwise the page is shown read-only.
