EN ES

Online Payments lets you connect the payment methods that customers use to pay when they book online. You can turn each method on or off and manage live and test credentials for each provider.

What it is for

This page controls which payment methods are available during the reservation checkout. You can:

  • Allow customers to pay in Cash.
  • Accept card and wallet payments through PayPal and Stripe.
  • Keep live and test credentials separate, so you can try payments safely before going live.

Where to access it

In the admin area, open the left menu Settings and choose Online Payments. The page is titled ONLINE PAYMENTS.

Cash

The Cash card has a single switch, Enable Cash Payments. Turn it on to let customers choose to pay in cash.

PayPal

The PayPal card is switched on with Enable PayPal. When enabled, the following settings appear:

  • Payment method title – the name shown to customers (for example "PayPal").
  • PayPal Mode – choose Live to process real payments or Test (Sandbox) to use PayPal's test environment.

Depending on the selected mode, you then fill in the matching credentials:

  • In Live mode: PayPal Live Client ID and PayPal Live Secret.
  • In Test (Sandbox) mode: PayPal Test Client ID and PayPal Test Secret.

Stripe

The Stripe card is switched on with Enable Stripe. When enabled, the following settings appear:

  • Payment method title – the name shown to customers (for example "Stripe").
  • Stripe Mode – choose Live or Test.

Depending on the selected mode, you then fill in the matching keys:

  • In Live mode: Stripe Live Public Key and Stripe Live Secret Key.
  • In Test mode: Stripe Test Public Key and Stripe Test Secret Key.

Requesting another payment processor

If you use a different provider, the page includes a section titled Need another payment processor integrated?. Click Request integration to ask for the provider to be added to your software.

How to use it

  1. Open Settings → Online Payments.
  2. Turn on the payment methods you want to offer with their Enable switches.
  3. For each enabled provider, choose the mode and enter the matching live or test credentials.
  4. Click Save Settings.

What happens next

  • After saving, only the payment methods you enabled are offered to customers at checkout.
  • A confirmation message appears when the settings are saved successfully.
  • Payments made with the selected provider are reflected in your booking and payment records.

Important behavior and special cases

  • The live and test credential fields are shown based on the mode you select, so you only see the fields relevant to the current mode.
  • Mixing live and test credentials can cause checkout to fail or record misleading payments, so make sure each provider is fully set to one mode before going live.
  • You can enable several payment methods at once; customers then choose between them at checkout.
  • The Save Settings button and editing are only available to users who have permission to update these settings.

Tips

Tip Set a provider to Test mode and run a test payment first, then switch to Live only after the payment completes successfully end to end.
Tip Use the Payment method title to control the exact wording customers see, for example "Credit / Debit Card" for Stripe.
