Mileage Packages

Mileage packages let you offer mileage-allowance packages that customers can select when booking. Each package defines a mileage allowance and a price for each fleet category.

Where to access it

In the admin area, open the Prices section in the left menu and choose Mileage Packages. The page shows a section for each fleet category.

Category sections

Each fleet category shows its name and its Default limit – the mileage included before any package applies.

  • When the category has a mileage limit, you can click Add package to create a package, or Copy to copy packages from another category.
  • When the category is set to unlimited mileage, a note tells you that mileage packages cannot be added and points you to manage the limit.

Creating a package

Each package row has these columns:

  • Name – the package name, with a button to edit its description.
  • Unlimited – a switch that makes the package's mileage unlimited.
  • Mileage – the included distance (in km or miles), hidden when Unlimited is on.
  • Price – the cost, charged either per day or as a total.
  • Backend – a checkbox that keeps the package available only to staff in the back office.
  • Recommended – marks one package as recommended for the category.
  • Selected – marks a package to be pre-selected for customers.

Editing a package description

Click the edit icon next to a package name to open the Package description dialog, type the text, and click Save.

Copying packages between categories

Click Copy on a category to open the Copy packages dialog, choose the categories to copy to, and click Copy packages. Only categories that do not already have packages are shown.

How to use it

  1. Open Prices → Mileage Packages.
  2. Find the fleet category and click Add package.
  3. Enter a Name, set the Mileage (or switch on Unlimited), and set the Price with its mode.
  4. Optionally set Backend, Recommended, or Selected.
  5. Click Save.

What happens next

  • Packages become available to customers selecting that category during booking.
  • The Recommended package is highlighted, and the Selected package is pre-chosen.
  • A confirmation message appears when the settings are saved successfully.

Important behavior and special cases

  • Packages cannot be added to a category that is set to unlimited mileage.
  • Only one package per category can be marked Recommended or Selected.
  • Editing and saving require permission; otherwise the page is shown read-only.
Tip Use the Selected flag to pre-select the package most customers should get, so they can simply confirm it.
Tip Set up packages for one category, then use Copy to apply the same set to your other categories quickly.
