Company Overview
Taxifeer is an Estonian car rental company offering economical and comfortable vehicles for rent in Tallinn and Tartu. While their office and rental cars are based in Tallinn, their services cater to customers across Estonia. With a focus on flexibility, Taxifeer allows clients to create work schedules that suit their needs by making reservations conveniently online. The Taxifeer website is multilingual, supporting both Estonian and English, and features individual pages with detailed information about each car type.
Taxifeer has been utilizing the VEVS Car Rental Website Builder since early 2020.
Challenges
Before transitioning to VEVS, Taxifeer operated a static website that lacked online booking capabilities, limiting their ability to serve customers efficiently. Key challenges included:
- No e-commerce functionality for real-time bookings.
- Limited ability to showcase detailed vehicle information.
- The need for tailored solutions to handle specific rental scenarios, such as long-term rentals and delivery services.
The VEVS Solution
VEVS worked with Taxifeer to move from a static website to a fully functional e-commerce solution powered by our car rental software. Customizations included:
-
SEO Optimization - Implemented all necessary SEO 301 redirects to preserve and enhance search engine rankings during the transition to the new website.
-
Detailed Vehicle Information - Added a mileage limit feature to the car details section, providing transparency and helping customers make informed decisions.
-
Flexible Pick-Up & Return Options - Enabled the ‘Deliver to My Address’ option with custom fees for working hours and out-of-hours services, enhancing customer convenience.
-
Long-Term Rental Support- Designed a quote request form for rentals exceeding 30 days, catering to corporate clients and long-term rental needs.
